About Me.

Hi! I’m Maximilien, a 27-year-old designer who’s been calling Montréal home for almost eight years now—and I’m a proud permanent resident.

I’ve been lucky enough to explore different parts of the world—I was born in Paris, lived in La Réunion and Switzerland, and now Canada has truly become my home.
These experiences have shaped my perspective, making me adaptable, open-minded, and always ready to embrace change, new challenges, and the unknown.

Before diving into design, I was a Division 1 athlete in a rugby academy, balancing intense training with my studies. Competing at a high level taught me discipline, teamwork, and the mindset to constantly push my limits. Later, in Montréal, I pursued higher education in a hybrid program that combined design, development, and video games
—making me highly versatile. This versatility, combined with a strong sense of empathy, allows me to easily put myself in others' shoes, anticipate challenges, and tackle them with efficiency.

Design is all about solving problems and creating impact. I absolutely love working with developers, project managers, data analysts, copywriters, strategists… everyone plays a crucial role in bringing a product to life. This synergy is essential to building something truly valuable.

Traveling is my biggest source of inspiration. My latest trip? A road trip across New Zealand, from the paradise-like North Island to the wild and rugged South Island.
A breathtaking experience, both visually and personally. It’s in these moments of exploration that I recharge and find fresh ideas.

If you’d like to connect, chat about projects, or even debate about who makes the best bagels between Fairmount or St-Viateur—I’d love to hear from you!
